Inspire Group COVID-19 update
Kia Ora to our clients and our communities,
On behalf of the entire Inspire Group team, I’m writing to you with a company update during these unprecedented times. Like everyone worldwide, our team at Inspire Group is adapting to the challenges that COVID-19 presents.
We are thinking of all of you: our clients, associates, colleagues and your families.
Already, the pattern of working life has changed for many people. This change can be unsettling, particularly when no firm information can be provided on what further adjustments may be needed. Like other businesses tackling this issue, we’re being guided by the Department of Health.
At Inspire we’ve always taken great pride in our flexible work style, with many of our staff already working from home or remotely. Over the years we’ve implemented remote working systems in response to earthquakes. We’ve also helped some of our clients to do the same, implementing virtual learning to ensure their teams can work from home, and efficiently upskill to adapt to this new style of work.
So we are in a fortunate position where we already have the experience and procedures to continue your projects digitally or virtually, should you so desire. Here are some of the things we’ve learned while implementing this flexible working culture, which may also help with your planning:
Fewer meetings. Shorter meetings. Virtual meetings.
We understand that everyone has a lot on their plate, so we’re keeping focused on only running meetings if they are essential. There are a plethora of video conferencing tools that we are using to keep us all connected. We are also cancelling all international travel as an organisation until further notice.
Stay connected
We will be taking advantage of all virtual communication tools (email, Team messaging, good old telephone) to support each other and continue collaboration on our work and projects. Things are changing fast so we are making it a priority to stay connected.
Stay well
At the end of the day, health and wellbeing is most important, so we encourage everyone we work with to make that their priority.
If you have any concerns about your existing or future projects with Inspire Group please do not hesitate to contact us. If you require any assistance with developing your remote work culture or virtualising your learning we will be happy to provide any advice and help we can.
